LIBRARY BOOKS and PERIODICALS

Our library has 16361 books accessioned as on 15th July 2016.
Total no of books available is 9822.
Books condemned  is 6491.
No. of books issued to students since 15th December 2016 is 19,693.

library automation

Our library is fully automated with the software 'newtek libra soft'.  And it has excellent features like accession register, data entry through ms excel and as well as directly in to software, issue register to students and teachers separately, provision for issue of periodicals for teacher members, statements for individual members issue perticulars, statements for details of books in different subjects, periodicals accession register, reminder of periodicals subscription, asset register, codemnation register, stock checking register, book lost register and the very important one search catalogue with title, author, subject, publisher etc. And it has back up facility.
We have been enjoying with software and it saves the time of the readers a lot.
Students will have account with their admission number and teachers with their PF Numbers.
The software is very user friendly in nature with immense pleasure in practicality.
